Kathy studied drawing and painting at University of Louisville’s Department of Fine Arts, and also with respected artists such as John Michael Carter and Daniel Greene. She works primarily in soft pastel and oil paint, with an emphasis on portrait painting. Her works have received honors in a number of shows in Kentucky and can be found in private and public collections throughout the country.
Kathy is a juried member of The Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen www.kyguild.org, a charter member of the Kentuckiana Artists Pastel Society, and a member of The Portrait Society of America.
She and her husband, John, live and work in Louisville, Kentucky.
